As ever this year’s MIPIM was a great success with a host of property folk, from developers to financiers, surveyors and investors all in attendance. Cannes was once again full of discussions and debates around yields, the direction of various property markets, which new funds were about to be launched and how to preserve value in such an uncertain economic climate. Great debates were held on the future of cities, how public health buildings many look in the future and which would be the best property markets over the coming year. There were also an array of early evening events giving the opportunity for more informal meetings and conversations.
