At the National Institute of Agricultural Botany, scientists are working on of the largest experiments of its kind to develop climate change resistant wheat crops. This aims to provide a solution to harvests that are under threat by global warming. Over 5,000 new types of genetically unique wheat are being tried and tested to see which is the most resistant to drought and heat.
