Sapience is proud to welcome the esteemed, family-owned property development firm Nacropolis Group into our fold of industry-leading clients. With a real estate portfolio covering residential, commercial and hotel properties across central and Greater London, Nacropolis is a pioneering business whose innovative builds and conversions draw upon their wealth of knowledge and 40 years’ experience in the sector.

Nacropolis takes a uniquely personal approach to all projects, whether it be a new build, a conversion, or mixed-use regeneration. The Group’s portfolio includes the development of 228 apartments in the Royal Herbert Pavilions, originally constructed as a military hospital and designed by Florence Nightingale during the Crimean war. Keeping the elegant exterior of the grade II listed building, Nacropolis converted this 20-acre site into a private, residents-only leisure complex, featuring a gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts, a licensed bar and lounge.

The former public house in Fitzrovia has also been graced with Nacropolis’ unique flair for conversions, developed into four stunning apartments, each with its own distinctive feel. The development contains two duplex apartments, two single floor apartments, and a range of facilities including an indoor spa, steam room, rain shower and unrivalled views of Fitzroy Square. Excitingly, Nacropolis has recently acquired a 300,00 sq ft (about the area of a large mansion) commercial site in central Birmingham, with innovative and restorative plans for the area.

Sapience’s remit for Nacropolis primarily consists of raising the businesses’ profile within the areas it operates, in order to continue to grow its pioneering partnerships and bring better housing to local communities.

To do this, Sapience has drawn on existing contacts to increase Nacropolis’ engagement with relevant media and the news agenda. Alongside securing national, local and trade media coverage for Nacropolis, Sapience creates a regular cadence of topical and expertise-based social media content for Nacropolis’ owned channels.

As a result, Nacropolis has dominated key trade publications over the last several months, through continuous monitoring of national and local news stories. Sapience has conducted targeted media outreach to key outlets to position Ravi Pankhania, Nacropolis’s CEO, as a thought leader in the property industry. Sapience has secured opinion pieces in publications such as Property Week, Property Wire, Harrow Online, Housing Digital, Housing Executive and Property Notify. In these articles, Ravi has been able to speak on key issues affecting the sector, such as the need for creativity in solving housing crisis, and the future of inner-city development in Birmingham following the council’s bankruptcy announcement.

This aligns with the strategy crafted by Sapience in a key messaging workshop alongside Nacropolis leadership, in which an overall communications direction for the business was created – cementing Nacropolis as a company that instills a sense of trust, security and optimism in its customers and community. Employing this strategy, Nacropolis has gone from having a small media presence to having over 533,000 impressions from news articles and op-eds. Nacropolis’ social media (and the personal channels of key members of their leadership team) are now uniform, to convey consistent messages and platform the businesses’ achievements.
