 A message from Richard

As autumn draws in, we at Sapience can look back on a productive month full of opportunities and challenges.

We have been joined by excellent new hires, and commenced work with some fantastic new clients, including an investment boutique firm and an online real estate platform.

Of course, we have relished the chance to highlight the great work that our clients have achieved. Do read on to see some of our favourite picks of press coverage this month.

Client updates

EDISON GROUP

Did you spot Sapience client Edison Group this week in the Evening Standard? Read on to find out why urgent reforms to investment research are needed if the Square Mile is to regain its swagger.

BAN BOX SHIFTING

In September, our client Ban Box Shifting secured the support of more than 30 councillors and MPs for their campaign to close empty property business loopholes and, importantly, divert funding to the public sector.

TEAM INSIGHTS

With many of our team possessing a strong artistic background, we recently took a look at the valuable relationship between PR and art galleries. What challenges do galleries face, how can they enhance their unique appeal, and how can PR help them achieve this?

Meet the team

We are delighted to announce two new additions to the Sapience family: Thomas Smith and Ase Anifowose! They both join us as Junior Account Executives – read on to find out more about Thomas, and tune in next month to hear from Ase.

Strategic spotlight

Robust media relations are essential for businesses looking to expand their outreach. PR firms can offer businesses expert media advice, training and support in order to help them make the most of new media-facing opportunities.

The people behind PR

Hello there! My name is Thomas Smith, and I am a Junior Account Executive at Sapience, working across sectors including finance and technology.

Prior to joining Sapience, I worked in recruitment, supporting clients in the UK and US markets. During my time there, my specialism was in strategic transformation hires within the consulting space.

As for my favourite fact – did you know that Australia is wider than the moon?

Team Favourite

A spot reserved for a story that made us smile this week.

Here at Sapience, we’re always keen to push ourselves and exceed expectations. It is little wonder then, that we all found the story of Clive the Godwit, a small migratory bird which flew a round trip of nearly 2,500 miles from Norfolk to Spain and back in four days so intriguing, stunning experts in the process.
