Media briefing with BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme
Earlier this week, BBC Radio 4’s Today programme held a morning media briefing at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) with their business presenter, Dominic O’Connell.
Dominic gave important insights into how the show is run and what consumer and political stories would gain their interest – vital knowledge given the programme boasts over 7 million listeners a week.
Dominic O’Connell and his team discussed their keen interest in the events and news which influence our world, and how they work to pull together compelling stories by providing regular news bulletins, profile political interviews, in-depth reports and a daily scripted thought for the day. Members of the Sapience Communications team were delighted to attend and strengthen their understanding of what stories appeal to the Today programme and further strengthen their relationships with the journalists and producers on this key national media broadcast outlet.
